What makes Molokai a unique vacation destination?

Moloka’i is truly a Hawaii gem. It’s the only island in the Hawaiian chain that practices the Hawaiian culture to its fullest. No traffic lights, no buildings taller than 30 feet and no chain stores or restaurant.

What is your favorite area restaurant?

Hiro’s Ohana Grill- located onsite. The BEST restaurant  and only Ocean Front dining on the island

If you could only choose one local attraction that is a must-see, what would it be?

Taking a hike to the leper colony “Kalaupapa”

What are your top five favorite things to do in Molokai?

What is your background in the hospitality industry?

My hospitality career started on June 14, 1989. I have worked 32 years in the hospitality industry and have worked every position there is in a hotel.

What’s your favorite room at Hotel Molokai and why?

unit 205 – Ocean Front Deluxe Suite. Amazing View of the Pacific Ocean with a wraparound deck.

What makes Hotel Molokai different from nearby lodging?

We are in a very unique situation – we are the ONLY hotel on the island. However, Hotel Moloka’i gives the authentic, Hawaiian experience that you will not find at any other lodging area here on Moloka’i.

How long have you worked here at the hotel?

My Hotel Moloka’i career started on February 6, 2007. Over 14 years here, and I still have the passion and love for what I do.

What’s your favorite food and where can you find it around here?

All things seafood – Hiro’s Ohana Grill and Taste of Molokai
